I am an Astrophysicist at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory in Cambridge, MA working on many aspects of the Virtual Observatory.  I facilitate data "publishing," investigate citation practices in astronomy, support researcher's use and reuse of the astronomy's extensive digital archives, run computational training exercises for scientists, manage community user groups and create end-user documentation. I do all this while researching the birth and early evolution of stars in our local Galaxy.
